Your Residential Build

From homesite to housewarming, without the guesswork.

Choose an available Amour homesite, or talk with us about building on land you already own. We begin with your site, preferred design, budget, and timing.

The Amour homesite program: six steps

01

Choose your homesite

Review currently available homesites with us, including lot dimensions, orientation, restrictions, and the site-specific work needed for your selected plan.

You leave with

Available homesite information and any reservation terms agreed in writing.

02

Select your model

Explore available home plans, including designs from our design partners. You see the full plan, the renderings, and the standard specification before you commit to anything.

You leave with

Your model’s complete package — floor plan, renderings, spec sheet, and base price for your lot.

03

Make it yours

Every Amour home gets its own palette — no two are alike. In your design meeting we walk selections room by room: brick and exterior paint, flooring, cabinets, counters, tile, fixtures, lighting. Every choice is recorded and signed, so nothing is ever a surprise.

You leave with

Your personal Materials & Selections document — the record that travels with your home for life.

04

Contract & financing

One agreement covers your lot, your model, and your locked selections — with the price and build timeline in writing. Use any lender you like; we’ll introduce you to local lenders who know new construction and keep closings on schedule.

You leave with

A signed agreement with every exhibit attached — and a build start date on the calendar.

05

We build. You watch it happen.

Amour coordinates the construction team, trade partners, inspections, and project milestones. We agree on progress updates and walkthroughs for your build.

You leave with

Progress information and walkthroughs at the milestones agreed for your project.

06

Walkthrough, closing & beyond

Before closing, we review the completed home and handover information with you. Your warranty documents explain applicable coverage, start dates, exclusions, maintenance responsibilities, and how to report a concern.

You leave with

Keys, the bound Amour homeowner package — and a builder who still answers the phone.

Homeowner Care

Our process doesn’t end at the keys.

Every Amour home closes with a 16-page Homeowner Guidebook written for Acadiana — slab care, drainage, humidity, termites, hurricane season — plus an online Owner’s Manual with a seasonal checklist. See it for yourself before you ever sign anything.

Step 01 Is a Walk, Not a Commitment

Come walk the homesites with us.

See the lots, tour the model portfolio, and take a Homesite Sheet home. If it’s not the right fit, you’ll still know exactly what a well-built home looks like.
